Miles Overview
The MDX is Acura's three-row luxury SUV, the one families cross-shop against the Lexus RX and the Volvo XC90. It drives smoothly and feels planted, though the transmission can be a bit hesitant at low speeds around town. The cabin feels upscale with quality materials, but the third row is snug for adults and best left to kids. Reliability is a strong point, with most owners reporting few issues, though the front seats can show wear over time. The Technology Package is the sweet spot for most shoppers, adding the dual-screen infotainment and navigation you miss on the Base trim. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and returns an EPA-estimated 23 mpg combined, which helps keep fuel stops infrequent. Choose the Advance package and you get ventilated front seats and a surround-view camera, two features that make daily life easier.
