Miles Overview
The 2020 Honda Pilot is a three-row family SUV that seats up to eight, slotting between the Passport and the Odyssey in Honda's lineup. It competes with the Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, and Kia Telluride, offering a roomier cabin than most. The V6 provides smooth, confident acceleration, and the ride is composed, though the nine-speed can occasionally hesitate in low-speed shifts. With three rows and clever storage, the Pilot is practical for families, though third-row access is narrow and cargo space behind the third row is tight. The Touring sits above the EX-L and below the Elite in the Pilot lineup, adding a power moonroof and a premium audio system. The 3.5L V6 and nine-speed automatic pair with all-wheel drive for responsive highway merging, and you'll average 22 mpg combined.
