2019 Honda Pilot LX

The 2019 Pilot is Honda's three-row family SUV, slotting between the compact CR-V and the larger Odyssey minivan. It competes with the Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, and Kia Telluride for families needing three rows. The V6 pulls strongly and the ride is composed, though the nine-speed can be a bit hesitant at low speeds. Inside, the Pilot offers generous space for eight and a practical layout, with easy access to the third row. Honda Sensing, including adaptive cruise and collision mitigation, is standard across the lineup. The LX is the base Pilot, so you get cloth seats and a 5-inch display instead of the EX's larger screen and Smart Entry. This LX has the same 3.5L V6 as every Pilot, but it uses a six-speed automatic instead of the nine-speed found in higher trims.
