2012 Honda Pilot EX-L

The 2012 Pilot is Honda's three-row SUV, a roomy family hauler that competes with the Toyota Highlander and Ford Explorer. Inside, you get a practical cabin with clever storage cubbies everywhere, and the middle row easily fits three car seats across. With all three rows up, cargo space is tight, but fold the rear seats and you'll have plenty of room for luggage. The EX-L adds leather seats, heated front seats, and a power moonroof over the EX, but skips the Touring's navigation and rear entertainment system to save you a few thousand dollars. Its 3.5L V6 makes 250 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to four-wheel drive, and Variable Cylinder Management helps it achieve 20 mpg combined.
