Miles Overview
This Odyssey is Honda's family hauler, a minivan that seats up to eight with three rows of stadium-style seating. The second-row captain's chairs and fold-flat third row make it easy to haul everything from kids to a pallet of mulch. Owners love the dual power sliding doors and the DVD player, which keep family trips far less chaotic. Stepping up from the EX to the EX-L adds leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and heated front seats for a more premium family cabin. The 3.5L V6 makes 244 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, delivering smooth, confident acceleration for merging onto highways. At 19 mpg combined, the EX-L's fuel economy is typical for a full-size minivan of this era, so budget for regular fill-ups on long road trips.
