Miles Overview
The Odyssey is Honda's minivan, the one families cross-shop with the Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Town & Country. It drives smaller than it is, with a smooth ride and steering that makes it easy to maneuver in tight parking lots. Inside, the cabin is roomy enough for eight, with clever seating that folds or removes to swallow bulky cargo. Owners love the dual sliding doors, the DVD player, and all the cubbies and cup holders for keeping kids happy. The LX is the no-frills choice for budget-minded families who want Honda's minivan without the extras; the EX adds power doors and a CD player. Its 3.5L V6 makes 244 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, which is smooth and willing for merging or climbing hills with a full load. You get manual sliding doors and a basic stereo, which keeps the price down but means you'll reach for the handles yourself.
