Miles Overview
The ES is Lexus's midsize luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that makes long highway miles feel easy, though it's not the sportiest choice in its class. Inside, you get a plush, well-built cabin with comfortable seats and plenty of room for four adults. The infotainment system uses a touchpad controller that takes some getting used to, but it's responsive once you learn it. Stepping up to the Ultra Luxury adds semi-aniline leather upholstery, heated rear seats, and a power rear sunshade over the Luxury trim. The 3.5L V6 makes 302 horsepower and pairs with a eight-speed automatic, moving the sedan smoothly around town and delivering 32 mpg highway on the highway. The Ultra Luxury can be ordered with the Ultra Luxury Package, which includes a panoramic sunroof and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.
