Miles Overview
The ES is Lexus's midsize luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that makes long highway miles feel easy, though it's not the sportiest choice in its class. Inside, you get a plush, well-built cabin with comfortable seats and plenty of room for four adults. The infotainment system uses a touchpad controller that takes some getting used to, but it's responsive once you learn it. The Luxury trim adds leather upholstery and a power moonroof over the Premium, but skips the Ultra Luxury's upgraded audio and rear sunshade. Its 3.5L V6 makes 302 horsepower and routes through a eight-speed automatic to the front wheels, delivering smooth, effortless acceleration that suits the ES's relaxed character.
