Miles Overview
The ES 250 is Lexus's mid-size luxury sedan, the one that competes with the Acura TLX and Genesis G80. It's tuned for smooth, quiet cruising, so it glides over pavement rather than egging you on. The ride is supple and the cabin stays hushed at highway speeds, making it an easy daily driver. Inside, you get a well-built cabin with comfortable seats and a spacious rear bench for passengers. Standard all-wheel drive sets the Base apart from the front-drive ES 350, so you get all-season grip without stepping up to a higher trim. Its 2.5L I4 pairs with an {automatic transmission} and all-wheel drive for 202 horsepower, which is enough for relaxed commuting rather than urgent acceleration. The EPA rates the Base at 28 mpg combined, which is strong for an AWD luxury sedan and helps offset the cost of premium fuel.
