Miles Overview
The ES is Lexus's midsize luxury sedan, the one that competes with the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series but with a softer, more comfort-focused character. It's a car you'll enjoy for its smooth, quiet progress rather than for carving canyons, and the ride stays composed on most roads. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, well-built place with comfortable seats and plenty of room for four adults. A large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard, and the available Mark Levinson audio is a treat. Stepping up to the Premium from the base ES adds niceties like power-adjustable front seats and a power sunroof, while skipping the Luxury's extra leather and tech. The 3.5L V6 makes 301 horsepower and works with a eight-speed automatic to move this sedan with confident ease. Expect a composed ride on the standard 17-inch wheels, with the option of a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert for extra confidence in traffic.
