Miles Overview
The ES is Lexus's midsize luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that makes highway miles feel effortless, though it's not the sportiest thing in its class. Inside, the cabin is plush and well-built, with comfortable seats and plenty of room for four adults. Expect to run it on premium fuel, and while it's not cheap to maintain, it holds its value well. The base ES is the one to pick if you want the same smooth V6 and Lexus refinement without paying for the Luxury trim's extra leather and wood trim. Its 3.5L V6 makes 301 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly, returning 26 mpg combined on premium fuel.
