Miles Overview
The Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster, offered as a soft-top convertible or a fixed-roof coupe for 2006. It's a true driver's car, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes every corner feel like an event. The cabin is snug but well built, with quality materials and a trunk that handles a surprising amount of luggage. Owners note the power roof motor can fail, and the flimsy cupholders are a known weak point. The 3.0si is the enthusiast's pick, with a stronger engine than the 3.0i and a more focused character that makes it worth the step up. Its 3.0L I6 makes 255 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving you a smooth, eager pull that makes every on-ramp a treat; expect 21 mpg combined.
