Miles Overview
This is BMW's two-seat roadster, a rear-drive sports car that's all about open-air driving and sharp responses. The steering is quick and precise, and the car corners flat with little body roll, making it a joy on twisty roads. The ride is firm, especially over broken pavement, which is the trade-off for that handling. Inside, the cabin feels well-built with quality materials, though the cupholders are flimsy and taller drivers may find the cockpit snug. The 3.0si gets a more powerful engine than the 3.0i, along with standard 17-inch wheels and sport seats. Its 3.0L I6 makes 255 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving it eager throttle response and a smooth pull to redline. The 3.0si can be optioned with the Sport Package, which adds firmer suspension tuning and sport seats with more lateral support.
