Miles Overview
The Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster, offered as a soft-top convertible or a fixed-roof coupe for 2006. It's a true driver's car, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes every corner feel like an event. The cabin is snug but well built, with quality materials and a trunk that handles a surprising amount of luggage. Owners note the power roof motor can fail, and the flimsy cupholders are a known weak point. The 3.0i is the Z4 for buyers who want the roadster experience without the premium of the 3.0si's extra power. The soft top operates electrically and stows neatly, but the roof motor is one of the items owners watch for as the car ages.
