Miles Overview
The Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster for 2003, a convertible that competes with the Porsche Boxster and Mercedes SLK. It's a driver's car through and through, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes you want to find the twistiest road. Inside, the cabin is snug but well built, with quality materials and a trunk that fits more than you'd expect from a roadster. Owners mention the power roof motor can fail from condensation, so it's worth asking if it's been replaced. The 3.0i is the step up from the 2.5i, trading a bit of fuel economy for a stronger 3.0L I6 that makes the roadster feel genuinely quick. The 3.0i's standard sport suspension firms up the ride for sharper cornering, which is the trade-off for the composed feel at speed.
