Miles Overview
The Tacoma is Toyota's compact pickup, a smaller and more maneuverable alternative to full-size trucks like the Ford F-150. The cab is snug, often a true two-seater with a center console, so plan for limited passenger space. Owners routinely report crossing 180,000 miles without major repairs, and the truck shrugs off unpaved roads. The base Tacoma sits below the Prerunner and Limited trims, giving you a no-frills work truck with the essentials and nothing extra. Its 2.4L I4 makes 142 horsepower, paired with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, so it's adequate for daily driving but won't win any races.
