Miles Overview
The Venza is Toyota's crossover wagon, sized between the RAV4 and Highlander, and it's a good fit if you want more room than a sedan but don't need a full-size SUV. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a comfortable ride that soaks up highway miles easily, though the steering feels a bit numb and disconnected from the road. The cabin is roomy for five, with a large cargo area and rear seats that fold flat for extra space, and the rear air vents keep back-seat passengers comfortable. Some owners mention noticeable road noise on the highway, and a few have had issues with the air conditioning system over time. Paired with a smooth six-speed automatic, the 3.5L V6 returns 21 mpg combined, which is reasonable for a crossover that weighs 4,045 pounds.
