Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, the roomy, comfortable choice if you're after a big four-door that isn't a luxury badge. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that eats up highway miles, and the TRD trim adds a firmer suspension and sharper steering for a sportier feel. The cabin is genuinely spacious, with generous rear legroom and a trunk that swallows luggage for road trips. Every Avalon comes with a large touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Toyota Safety Sense as standard. The Touring is the sporty-leaning Avalon without the TRD's visual aggression, adding paddle shifters and a stiffer suspension over the XSE. It uses the firm's proven 3.5L V6 with 301 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic, returning 31 mpg highway on the highway. Only the Touring gets the adaptive variable suspension, letting you soften the ride on rough pavement or stiffen it for back roads.
