Miles Overview
The 2022 Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the likes of the Honda Accord and Nissan Maxima. It's tuned for comfort first, so the ride is smooth and the steering is light, though you won't mistake it for a sports sedan. The cabin is quiet and spacious, with plenty of legroom for rear passengers and a trunk that swallows luggage easily. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Toyota Safety Sense with adaptive cruise control. The Limited hybrid is the gas-saving pick for buyers who want the Avalon's big back seat and easy, quiet nature. Its 2.5L I4 hybrid and automatic transmission work together seamlessly, returning 43 mpg combined from a curb weight of 3,695 pounds.
