Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, the roomy, comfortable choice if you want a big car without stepping up to a luxury badge. It's genuinely quick for a big sedan, and the engine stays smooth and quiet whether you're cruising or passing on the highway. The cabin is spacious and quiet, with comfortable seats front and back, and the trunk is huge for road trips. Some owners mention the rear seats don't fold down, though there's a small pass-through for long items like skis. The XLE adds leather-trimmed seats, a power-adjustable passenger seat, and blind-spot monitoring over the base Avalon. Its 3.5L V6 makes 301 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic sending power to two-wheel drive, good for 26 mpg combined. The XLE's standard dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats make it a comfortable choice for daily driving.
