Miles Overview
The 2018 Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, the one you pick when you want a roomy, quiet cruiser rather than a sporty compact. It's a comfortable highway car that feels smooth and composed, with a firm ride that's the trade-off for its stable handling. The cabin is a highlight, with plush seats, a quiet interior at speed, and plenty of space for four adults. The trunk is generous, though the rear seats don't fold flat, so you'll rely on the small pass-through for long items. The XLE Premium is the mid-level Avalon, adding niceties like leather upholstery and heated front seats over the base XLE. Its 3.5L V6 makes 268 horsepower and pairs with a smooth automatic transmission, giving you effortless highway passing and a relaxed 0-60 in the mid-six-second range.
