Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Buick LaCrosse and the Kia Cadenza. The ride is smooth and quiet at highway speeds, though you'll feel sharper bumps in town. Inside, the cabin is a highlight with plush leather, heated and cooled seats, and a simple, well-laid-out dashboard. Owners report few problems, but some mention the chrome trim on the dash can bubble and peel. The XLE is the volume leader in the Avalon lineup, sitting below the Limited and above the base XLE Premium, with a good balance of standard features and price. Its 3.5L V6 makes 268 horsepower and pairs with a smooth automatic transmission, giving you effortless passing power and a relaxed highway cruise.
