Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Buick LaCrosse and the Kia Cadenza. The ride is smooth and quiet at highway speeds, though you'll feel sharper bumps in town. Inside, the cabin is a highlight with plush leather, heated and cooled seats, and a simple, well-laid-out dashboard. Owners report few problems, but some mention the chrome trim on the dash can bubble and peel. The XLE Touring adds a sport-tuned suspension and paddle shifters over the standard XLE, giving it a sharper feel without losing the Avalon's quiet ride. Its 3.5L V6 makes 268 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and two-wheel drive, delivering smooth, effortless acceleration for highway merging.
