Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, the roomy, comfort-first choice above the Camry. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that soaks up highway miles with ease, though it's not a sporty handler. The cabin is genuinely spacious, with a huge trunk and a back seat that fits three adults comfortably. Owners praise its dependability and low running costs, but some note the engine bay is cramped for DIY maintenance. The XLS is the sole trim for 2004, so it's the one you get if you want the Avalon's spacious, comfort-oriented full-size sedan experience.
