Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Buick LaCrosse and the Kia Cadenza. The ride is smooth and quiet at highway speeds, though you'll feel sharper bumps in town. Inside, the cabin is a highlight with plush leather, heated and cooled seats, and a simple, well-laid-out dashboard. Owners report few problems, but some mention the chrome trim on the dash can bubble and peel. The XLE Touring hybrid gives up the V6's power for the best fuel economy in the Avalon lineup, saving you at the pump over the Limited. Its 2.5L I4 hybrid makes 156 horsepower and returns 40 mpg combined, so you'll rarely visit the gas station on your commute.
