Miles Overview
The Avalon is Toyota's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Buick LaCrosse and Nissan Maxima. It's a comfortable highway cruiser, and the TRD trim sharpens the handling with a stiffer suspension and sportier tuning. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with soft-touch materials and plenty of room for four adults. Standard tech includes a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Toyota Safety Sense with adaptive cruise and lane-keeping assist. Standard cloth seats and a simpler audio system set the XLE apart from the XSE and Limited trims above it. The 3.5L V6 makes 301 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic for smooth, effortless highway passing. Toyota rates it at 26 mpg combined on regular fuel, which keeps fuel costs low for a big sedan.
