Miles Overview
The 2025 Subaru Ascent is the brand's three-row family SUV, slotting above the Outback and Forester. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Telluride in the mid-size three-row segment. The turbo engine gives the Ascent confident passing power, and the CVT is tuned to feel responsive around town. The cabin is roomy across three rows, with captain's chairs available on upper trims and generous cargo space behind the third row. Blacked-out exterior trim, 20-inch black wheels, and perforated Nappa leather with green stitching set the Onyx Edition Touring apart from the standard Touring. The 2.4L I4 makes 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque, and the CVT's simulated shifts let you feel the gears working when you use the paddles. The Harman Kardon 14-speaker audio system and the panoramic moonroof are standard here, so you get the full premium cabin experience without checking option boxes.
