Miles Overview
The 2026 Crosstrek is Subaru's compact crossover, slotting below the Forester and Outback with a rugged, lifted stance. It competes with the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Mazda CX-30, but stands apart with standard all-wheel drive. The Crosstrek's boxer engine keeps the center of gravity low, making it feel planted and confident on twisty roads. The ride is composed and absorbs bumps well, though the suspension is tuned firm to support its off-road capability. Inside, the Crosstrek offers a straightforward cabin with comfortable seats and a decent amount of cargo space for its size. The Wilderness is the off-road specialist of the Crosstrek lineup, with more ground clearance and tougher body cladding than the Sport. Its 2.5L DOHC Subaru Boxer Engine W/ Auto Start Stop makes 180 horsepower, and the CVT's shorter final-drive ratio helps it feel punchier off the line than other Crosstreks.
