Miles Overview
The 2017 Outback is a rugged wagon that blends SUV practicality with car-like driving dynamics, competing with the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. The Outback handles confidently with a composed ride and sure-footed all-wheel drive, though the larger engine returns modest fuel economy. Inside, the cabin offers generous passenger space and a large cargo area, with roof rails and a hitch available for extra hauling. EyeSight driver assistance, including adaptive cruise and pre-collision braking, is available across trims to enhance safety. Owners praise the Outback's spacious interior, all-weather capability, and strong safety features, making it a favorite for outdoor adventures. The 3.6R Touring adds the larger engine, leather upholstery, and a power moonroof over the 3.6R Limited. Its 3.6L I6 makes 256 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, giving it confident highway merging and towing ability. The 3.6R Touring comes with standard EyeSight, navigation, and a heated steering wheel, so you get the full safety and convenience package.
