Miles Overview
The 2015 Outback is a wagon-like SUV that blends Subaru's trademark all-weather capability with family-friendly practicality. The Outback handles confidently on slippery roads, and its high seating position gives a commanding view of traffic ahead. Inside, the cabin is roomy and comfortable, with a large cargo area that easily swallows gear for weekend trips. Subaru's reputation for reliability carries over here, though some owners note that the all-wheel-drive system can be harder on tires. The 2.5i Limited is the luxury pick of the Outback lineup, adding leather upholstery, a power rear gate, and the harman/kardon audio that the Premium trim skips. Its 2.5L I4 makes 175 horsepower and works through a CVT that keeps the all-wheel drive system smooth, returning 28 mpg combined in real-world driving. X-Mode and Hill Descent Control come standard here, so you can tackle a muddy campsite road without worrying about traction.
