Miles Overview
The Outback is Subaru's wagon-like SUV, the one that blends car-like driving with extra ground clearance. It feels sure-footed on slippery roads, which is exactly what you want from an all-wheel-drive wagon. The cabin is practical and roomy, with a tall seating position that makes getting in and out easy. Owners like the generous cargo space and the comfortable seats, even on long drives. The 2.5i is the base Outback, sitting below the Special Edition and Limited trims, and it gives up leather and a sunroof to keep the price down. The 2.5i gets the same 22 mpg combined as the higher trims, so you're not sacrificing efficiency for the lower price.
