Miles Overview
The Legacy is Subaru's midsize sedan, the one people cross-shop with the Accord and Camry when they want all-weather grip. It handles with a sure-footed, planted feel that inspires confidence on wet or snowy roads, though the base engine can feel a bit lazy. Inside, the cabin is roomy and practical, with generous legroom front and back and a trunk that swallows luggage easily. Higher trims bring EyeSight driver aids like adaptive cruise and pre-collision braking, plus blind-spot monitoring and a backup camera. The Premium is the sweet spot for most shoppers, adding a larger touchscreen and heated seats over the base 2.5i without the Limited's leather. Its 2.5L I4 makes 175 horsepower, which is adequate for daily driving, and the automatic transmission pairs smoothly with all-wheel drive to return 30 mpg combined. The Premium can be had with the optional EyeSight package, giving you adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist for highway trips.
