Miles Overview
The 2024 GLE-Class is Mercedes' midsize luxury SUV, offered as a traditional SUV or a sleeker coupe-styled variant. It competes with the BMW X5, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90, bringing a blend of opulence and capability. The GLE drives with a composed, planted feel, absorbing bumps while keeping body motions in check. The cabin is a showcase of high-end materials and tech, with a large dual-screen display and available massaging seats. The GLE 53 AMG is the performance middle ground for those who want more excitement than the GLE 450 provides without jumping to the hardcore GLE 63 S. Its 3.0L I6 makes 429 horsepower and pairs with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, all-wheel drive, and an automatic transmission for quick, smooth getaways even in stop-and-go traffic. AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension comes standard, so the 53 corners flat and cruises comfortably on long highway trips.
