Miles Overview
The 2023 GLE-Class is a midsize luxury SUV that blends opulent comfort with genuine off-road capability. It goes up against the BMW X5, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90 in the premium three-row segment. The GLE drives with a poised, controlled feel, and the air suspension soaks up rough pavement admirably. Inside, the cabin is a showcase of rich materials and the latest MBUX infotainment, with generous space for five. The GLE 350 is the entry point to the lineup, trading the GLE 450's six-cylinder power for a lower starting price and rear-wheel drive. Its 2.0L I4 makes 255 horsepower and pairs with the nine-speed automatic, which is smooth but needs to be worked to keep up with traffic.
