Miles Overview
The GLE is Mercedes' mid-size luxury SUV, the one you cross-shop with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a composed, planted feel that makes long highway miles easy, and the air suspension keeps things smooth. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, well-built place with plenty of room for five and a generous cargo area behind the second row. The infotainment system uses a large central screen with a touchpad controller, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Its 3.0L V6 makes 362 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, enough to push you into the seat when you get on it. The air suspension with adaptive damping keeps the ride composed on rough pavement, though you'll feel the firmness that comes with the AMG tuning.
