Miles Overview
The EQS is Mercedes-Benz's electric flagship, a full-size luxury sedan that competes directly with the Tesla Model S and Lucid Air. It drives with the quiet confidence you'd expect from a Mercedes flagship, and the air suspension soaks up bumps without drama. Inside, the cabin is hushed and spacious, with the optional Hyperscreen stretching across the dash for a futuristic feel. The liftback trunk opens wide, and rear legroom is generous, making this a comfortable long-distance cruiser for four adults. The EQS 450 is the entry point to the electric flagship, skipping the 580's extra power but keeping the same air suspension and rear-axle steering. Its electric motor makes 355 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, routed through all-wheel drive, which is plenty for effortless daily driving and highway merging. The standard Hyperscreen and heated rear seats are rare at this price point, and the liftback gives you 74.0 cubic feet of cargo space of cargo space with the seats folded.
