Miles Overview
The GLS-Class is Mercedes' largest SUV, a three-row luxury hauler that competes with the BMW X7 and Audi Q7. It drives with a commanding presence, and the air suspension soaks up bumps while keeping body roll in check. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with comfortable seating for seven and a power-folding third row. The COMAND infotainment system is controlled by a rotary dial, and every GLS comes with a suite of driver-assistance features. The GLS 450 is the entry point to the three-row GLS lineup, sitting below the V8-powered GLS 550 and the high-performance GLS 63 AMG. Its 3.0L V6 makes 362 horsepower and routes power through a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, returning 19 mpg combined.
