Miles Overview
The GLE is Mercedes' mid-size luxury SUV, the one you cross-shop with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a composed, planted feel that makes long highway miles easy, and the air suspension keeps things smooth. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, well-built place with plenty of room for five and a generous cargo area behind the second row. The infotainment system uses a large central screen with a touchpad controller, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Its 3.0L V6 makes 385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, routed through nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives it strong acceleration and all-weather grip. The AMG-tuned air suspension keeps the ride composed, but you'll feel more road texture than in the standard GLE 400.
