Miles Overview
The M-Class is Mercedes' mid-size luxury SUV, competing with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a smooth, quiet confidence, though the steering feels a bit numb. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with comfortable seats and plenty of space for tall passengers. Expect higher running costs, as fuel and maintenance bills tend to run steep on this one. Its 3.5L V6 makes 302 horsepower and pairs with a seven-speed automatic, and in rear-wheel-drive form it returns 20 mpg combined. The standard MB-Tex upholstery is durable and easy to clean, though you give up the leather found in higher trims.
