Miles Overview
The 2015 M-Class is Mercedes' mid-size luxury SUV, competing with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a smooth, quiet confidence, though the steering feels a bit numb at times. Inside, the cabin is genuinely luxurious, with high-quality leather and wood trim that hold up well over the years. Owners report that the M-Class is dependable overall, but be ready for some electrical gremlins and pricey maintenance. The rear-drive ML 350 saves a few thousand over the 4MATIC and gives you the same 3.5L V6, but you'll want winter tires if you see snow. Its 3.5L V6 makes 302 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed automatic, and returns 20 mpg combined – smooth and willing, if not urgent.
