Miles Overview
The 2015 M-Class is Mercedes' mid-size luxury SUV, competing with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a smooth, quiet confidence, though the steering feels a bit numb at times. Inside, the cabin is genuinely luxurious, with high-quality leather and wood trim that hold up well over the years. Owners report that the M-Class is dependable overall, but be ready for some electrical gremlins and pricey maintenance. The ML 350 is the volume-selling trim, sitting below the more powerful ML 400 and the fire-breathing ML 63 AMG. Its 3.5L V6 makes 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to all-wheel drive for all-weather confidence. Expect fuel economy of 19 mpg combined in mixed driving, which is typical for a heavy, full-time AWD luxury SUV.
