Miles Overview
The GLE-Class is Mercedes-Benz's mid-size luxury SUV, the one that competes with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a commanding view of the road and a smooth, quiet demeanor that makes long trips effortless. The ride is plush and well controlled, soaking up bumps without feeling floaty. Inside, the cabin is roomy and upscale, with comfortable seats and a generous cargo area. The GLE 400 sits between the six-cylinder GLE 350 and the high-performance AMG models, adding a stronger engine and standard all-wheel drive without the AMG's firm ride. Its 3.0L V6 makes 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that deliver confident traction in all weather; expect 20 mpg combined. The GLE 400 can be ordered with the AIRMATIC air suspension, which lets you soften the ride for cruising or firm it up for curvy roads.
