Miles Overview
The R-Class is Mercedes' six-seat crossover, a tall wagon that blends the ride of a sedan with the space of an SUV. It drives with the composure you'd expect from a Mercedes of this era, feeling planted and stable on the highway. Inside, the cabin is genuinely spacious, with three rows of seats that fit adults in the middle and kids in the back. Cargo space is generous behind the third row, and the rear seats fold flat to swallow bulky loads when you need them to. The R 350 is the one to pick if you want the R-Class's space without the V8's thirst, and it still comes with all-wheel drive like the pricier R 500. Its 3.5L V6 pairs with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, good for 16 mpg combined.
