Miles Overview
The 2009 M-Class is Mercedes' mid-size luxury SUV, competing with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. Inside, the cabin feels solid and upscale, with comfortable seats that hold up well on long trips. Plan for higher running costs than a typical SUV, since maintenance and parts carry a Mercedes premium. The ML 550 splits the difference between the ML 350 and the ML 63 AMG, trading the AMG's track focus for a smoother ride and a much lower price. This trim's V8 gives it a strong, effortless pull that the six-cylinder ML 350 lacks, making highway passing and towing feel easy.
