Miles Overview
The Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi's compact crossover, a smaller and more affordable sibling to the larger Outlander. If you're also looking at a RAV4 or a CR-V, the Outlander Sport is a bit smaller and lighter on its feet. It's not the quickest in its class, but the steering is light and the ride is composed for daily driving. Inside, you get a straightforward cabin with decent front-seat space, though rear legroom is snug for adults. The SE adds alloy wheels, fog lights, and a rearview camera over the base ES, making it the better daily driver trim. Its 2.0L I4 makes 148 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, which is adequate around town but needs a heavy foot on the highway. The SE's available 4WD adds a bit of wet-road confidence without the weight penalty of a traditional all-wheel-drive system.
