Miles Overview
It's a fun little car to drive, with eager handling and a ride that's on the firm side, so you feel the road's imperfections. Inside, the cabin is stylish and comfortable up front, but the back seats are really only for kids or extra cargo. A raised ride height and chunky body cladding set the Dune apart from other Beetles, giving it a rugged look without going off-road. The 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which is enough for zippy around-town driving but not a hot hatch. Fuel economy is a strong point at 27 mpg combined, making the Dune an easy car to live with daily.
