Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, the one that gives you German character without the premium badge. It's a comfortable highway cruiser, and the steering is light but accurate enough for daily driving. Inside, the cabin feels solidly built with quality materials, and the rear seat offers generous legroom. Some owners mention electrical gremlins like faulty sensors and failing headlights, so it's worth a thorough check. The TDI SEL is the diesel pick for 2015, offering better fuel economy than the gas SE and a quieter ride than the GLI. Its 2.0L I4 makes 150 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed automatic delivers smooth shifts while the EPA rates it at 36 mpg combined. This trim adds leather seats and a touchscreen infotainment system, which the base S and SE don't offer.
