Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, a roomy alternative to the Corolla and Civic with a more substantial German feel. It handles with a composed, planted character that makes daily driving feel more engaging than the class average. The cabin is straightforward and well-built, with a clean layout and plenty of rear legroom for the segment. Some owners note a minor rattle in the dash on cold mornings and a tire-pressure light that can trigger with temperature swings. The SEL sits a step above the Sport and SE trims, adding leather seating and a Fender audio system for a more premium feel. Its 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission for smooth, relaxed acceleration.
