2012 Volkswagen Beetle Premiere

It's a genuinely fun car to drive, with a smooth, quiet ride and enough punch to merge onto highways without flooring it. Inside, you get a chic cabin with leather details, comfortable seats, and plenty of headroom up front. Some owners have dealt with finicky windows that stick or roll down on their own, and repairs can be pricey. Its 2.5L I5 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering a relaxed around-town feel that's easy to live with. You'll see 25 mpg combined from this hatchback, which is decent for a car of its size.
