Miles Overview
It's a genuinely fun car to drive, with a smooth, quiet ride and enough punch to merge onto highways without flooring it. Inside, you get a chic cabin with leather details, comfortable seats, and plenty of headroom up front. Some owners have dealt with finicky windows that stick or roll down on their own, and repairs can be pricey. Stepping up to the Premiere from the base Beetle adds a more powerful 2.5L I5 and a richer standard equipment list, including alloy wheels and a premium sound system. Its 2.5L I5 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual, giving you enough torque for easy passing and a relaxed highway cruise at 29 mpg highway.
